Greek cocktail masterclass with Jet2holidays

Europe

I was recently invited to a Greek inspired cocktail masterclass with Jet2holidays. I love cocktails and Greece so was super excited for this! The day before the event I got sent a massive hamper from Mixology with all the ingredients and equipment to make the cocktails.

On the evening I logged into the virtual cocktail event with around 19 other bloggers across the UK and the cocktail host from Mixology. We started off the evening with a premixed cocktail – Rhubarb Collins which was lovely and refreshing.

We then got into making our first cocktail Rose and Pine Martini which consisted of gin, elderflower, dry vermouth, pineapple juice and rosemary. This was delicious very fruity and sweet, it was my first time cocktail making and I was surprised at how easy it was to make. We also made a French Riviera this consisted of hennesy, white rum, sugar syrup, honey, lemon and apricot jam. This one was also great!

Throughout the evening we discussed Greek holidays which had me dreaming of a Greek getaway, relaxing on the beach and eating delicious food.

Our last cocktail of the evening was part of a competition to win a holiday to Greece, where we each created our own cocktail. My creation was called Aphrodite and consisted of a shot of elderflower, shot of pineapple, shot of gin and half a shot of grenadine. The other bloggers came up with some great cocktails and one of them was lucky enough to win the Greek holiday with flights.

I had a really great evening trying out all the different cocktails and will definitely be making more in the future with my new cocktail kit. I also loved hearing more about the Greek holidays Jet2holidays offer. They travel to a range of Greek designations such as Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Lindos and Lefkas. They’ve also recently started flying from Bristol which is great! I’ll definitely be looking at booking a Greek trip as there’s so many amazing places I’d love to visit there.
